We had a most memorable wedding in Playa del Carmen because of Maria.
We originally made arrangements to have our wedding celebration on the resort our 38 guests were staying. After taking a tour and learning about the wedding arrangements, we realized we wanted to get married off the resort to capture the romance and intimacy of Playa del Carmen. Maria assured us we would be able to make it happen in the short two week time frame, and we did! Maria was instrumental in providing us with many of the ideas that made our day more special than we imagined.
We speak no Spanish, and Maria made sure every detail was effectively communicated to the appropriate parties, including: Transportation for the wedding party and all our guests from the resort to and from the wedding and reception venues. The mariachi band and the parade route for the parade. Coordinating and preparation of a wedding gift for each of our guests. Locating and arranging a private secluded beach for the ceremony hors d'oeuvre and cocktails. Arranged for us to meet photographers. Arranged the sound equipment for the ceremony. Printed the wedding programs. Delivery of wedding day refreshments for the bridal party Went to the florist, with us. Went to the wedding cake designer with us.
Maria took personal satisfaction making sure every detail was perfect. The wedding was special for us and our guests. Maria is very kind, a pleasure to work with. We developed a true friend through the experience.
